Miami Equestrian turns up the heat in Raleigh
The weather was not the only thing on fire in Raleigh today as the team took on Nationals turning up the heat. They led the day off with Ali Drost in the Individual Novice Fences earning a blue laying down an 85. Then Hillary Oberpeul made her debut at nationals in the novice fences lighting the ring on fire with an 85 earning a second place ribbon. Krysten Kasting had a lovely draw riding her way to the top of the class of 16 with a fourth place finish. Maddie Macleod and Hillary Oberpeul gave beautiful rides on the flat in very competitive intermediate and novice team classes. The crys of MU- ET were shouted for all to hear, and then the riders took off to the stables to help with the horses who had worked so hard throughout the day to make things possible. It is time for all to catch some sleep because we will be back in our seats at 6:00 am to watch the horses school.
