MUET Hunt Seat and Dressage Weekend Success

Last weekend was a busy one for Miami Equestrian.  Both the hunt seat and dressage teams traveled throughout Ohio with polished boots and game faces ready.

The dressage team finished first at Findlay on Saturday.  Kelly Herdman earned a score of 64.19% riding a first level test and placed fifth.  In the upper training level, Liesel Pfleger took home blue with an impressive 71.60%.  Lower training level rider, Caili Pierro came in second with 65.83%, and Bre Lukan took home sixth place with 64.06% on a challenging experienced Grand Prix horse.

The hunt seat team journeyed through the mountains of southeast Ohio to Ohio University.  They proved that all the hard work and sweat during practices is paying off.  Perhaps they also had some lucky leprechauns on their side…

On Saturday, the team finished in third place, with only a few points separating the top teams.  Chelsea Campbell won both her flat and fences classes, taking home high point rider honors for the day.  Sunday, the team swept the open flat class, first through fourth place

Congratulations to both teams on a very successful weekend!
