Kentucky Summer Series

The first week of the Kentucky Summer Series held at the horse park in Lexington was quite a success. Miami horses Caper, Thor and Butterfly joined riders Allie Shea, Julia Prus, Kayla Akers and Ashley Dowler for a wonderful week.

Constellation (Caper) was shared by Allie and Julia who showed him in the Pre and Intermediate Adults. Caper proved that he loves the show life as Julia won a fences class on him and Allie brought home a second and third as well. Congrats to both girls on a wonderful job!

Thorwald (Thor) spent the majority of his time in the jumper ring as usual. The first day Kayla and Thor were one of only a few riders to go clean and under the time in their schooling trip. On their last day together, the two debuted in the equitation ring in the Ariat Medal.

Butterfly strutted her stuff like usual. Ashley entered Butterfly in the Intermediate Adult division where they finished up with a second and multiple fourths along with a third in the flat class.

Allie Stuckey met fellow Miamians at the horse park with her own horse Amore’s Encore (CJ). Allie and CJ competed in the regular Adult division and the Ariat medal as well. The two did wonderfully all weekend long.
