Summer Series: August Equivents Results

On August 14th, the Miami Equestrian Team headed to Far and Away farm in Marysville, Ohio, for the Equivents horse show. Three students of the equestrian center competed: Miami student Taylor Myers, a local high school student Amanda Rudolph, and Taylor Jermain, a member of the Autumn Rose IEA team. Coach Heather Pinnick lead the team through a very successful weekend.

Taylor Myers made her debut in the jumper ring aboard Carco. The duo performed impressively, leaving the weekend with a blue ribbon in the Medium schooling round going clear, and had a third and 2 fourths in the Low Adult Jumpers. They also received 4th in the Ariat Adult Medal and 2nd over fences in Adult Equitation, and 1st in Equitation on the Flat. Congratulations Taylor on a successful premiere in the Jumper ring!

Amanda Rudolph rode Miami horse Twix in her first ever hunter show. The team earned 1st and 3rd in the limit hunter over fences and 2nd in the under saddle, riding to the Reserve Champion in the division and 6th in the limit rider equitation on the flat.

Taylor Jermain rode Miami horse Buckle in a very successful weekend of classes. The couple received two 2nd’s and a 6th in the limit hunter over fences, and 5th in the limit equitation on the flat.
