Miami Hosts the Autumn Rose IEA Show

On September 19th, Miami hosted the Autumn Rose IEA Competition. IEA, or the Interscholastic Equestrian Association, is a program offered to high school and middle school students that works similarly to IHSA. Stables are able to create their own teams, and riders compete in Hunter/Jumper classes on the hosting facilities horses. High school and middle school riders from 5 stables attended, including Autumn Rose, Touch of Class, Childress Rodgers Stables, Duzan Riding Academy, and Sid Griffith Stables.

Scott Dehelian from Columbus Ohio was the judge for the 14 classes of the day. It was a very successful weekend with a great group of riders and horses.

Special thanks to the wonderful volunteers from the Miami Equestrian Team for helping out in the morning, and to the Autumn Rose volunteers for helping in the afternoon. The show would not have run without you!
